The 10th World Water Forum is currently underway in Bali, Indonesia where stakeholders from across the globe are meeting to find ways of addressing water-related challenges.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo officially opened the 10th World Water Forum on 20 May 2024 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center.
In his address, President Widodo urged the global community to collectively work together to address water challenges by sharing knowledge, promoting innovative solutions and implementing integrated water resources management.
The main theme for the 10th World Water Forum, which runs 18-25 May 2024 is “Water for Shared Prosperity,” while the six sub-themes are Water Security and Prosperity; Water for Humans and Nature; Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Governance; Cooperation and Hydro-Diplomacy; Sustainable Water Financing; and Knowledge and Innovation.
