  • People of the Basin - a discussion of the people living in the four basin states, their histories, cultures, and traditional ways of life.
  • Socioeconomics in the Basin - an exploration of the distribution of economic activities in the basin.
  • Environment and Well Being - discusses how the environment contributes to the well-being of people, through environmental goods and services and access to water and food security.
  • Human Development Initiatives - looks at development in the basin in terms of vulnerability, poverty alleviation, access to water and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
